Are you ready for a devilish drawing challenge?

A demonic horde has taken over the kingdom, possessing peasants and nobles alike! In his desperation, the King has summoned you to exorcise this evil threat and free his people once and for all!

This game is an eerie drawing challenge with surprising strategic depths. Will you prioritise knowledge and risk running out of ink at the last minute, or will you conserve your resources and risk not knowing enough? With multiple endings to find, can you collect them all?

Playing as either a nun or monk, you'll travel around medieval England, meeting all kinds of people from bewitched peasants to cowardly knights, while trying to undo the mischief of the devils. How you choose to help (or not!) will shape the fate of the kingdom!

As you travel, you'll find monasteries and scriptoriums where you can learn new symbols and learn about the demons plaguing the land. Be warned, learning symbols requires both time and ink, materials which are in short supply!

If your supplies run low you can get usually get more at the markets, however it is costly and time consuming to haggle with the merchants. As a monastic you have disavowed money, and so you must use your reputation to gain what you need. Spend it wisely as it may be needed elsewhere too...

Once you have found a possessed soul, you will need to free them by exorcising the demon within. In order to exorcise demons you'll need to correctly identify which symbols to use and then draw them correctly before the time runs out! 

Be warned though, each demon only has a few symbols that work against them, and you may need to travel to find the knowledge you seek. If you fail too many times, that soul will be permanently lost, their town will be overrun with devils and the surrounding roads will become too hazardous!

Search for knowledge, exorcize the possessed, free the kingdom.

Please note that this game is currently in active development and a demo will be released onto Steam shortly, there may be significant changes made to the game before it is fully released, and additional mechanics are being worked on at present.

The game contains frequent mentions of exorcisms. 'Fighting' (via drawing challenges) demons is a key mechanic of the game and while no physical violence is shown, there are some illustrations (in a medieval style) of people who have been possessed, and demonic entities that some gamers may find distressing.

While there is a creepy vibe to the game, there are no jump scares.
