OVERVIEW

Early 1990s China. The reform era is tearing up the old rulebook, the economy, the streets, the people on them. Nothing is settled. Everything is moving.

SHIFU: Traffic Masters is a driving anthology set in one city at the peak of that transformation. Five protagonists, five completely different ways to work the exact same streets.

You're a Shifu 师傅, a skilled working driver. You read traffic, you know the shortcuts, you've earned your reputation one run at a time. Forget GPS. Forget racing lines. The city is your only map, and it doesn't hand anything out for free.

Every job plays by its own rules. A truck full of livestock drives nothing like a van packed with fragile goods. A nervous passenger changes how you take corners. A fleeing suspect in a packed intersection changes everything. The city watches how you drive. Drive it well.
