Hvad udviklerne har at sige:

Hvorfor tidlig adgang?

“- This is the first game I make and I don't want to release it without feedback
- Further development might change the file format of savegames. This means that existing savegames might not be readable and players would have to start from the beginning. I want this to happen in Early Access and not in full release.”

Hvor lang tid vil dette spil være i tidlig adgang?

“I plan the game to be in Early Access far at least 3 but not longer than 6 months.”

Hvorledes kommer den fulde version til at være anderledes end produktet i tidlig adgang?

“- Steamworks integration
- Achievements
- Functions
- more Levels
- Audio
- Copy/Paste
- Manual

I did not do any work concerning Steamworks integration. I plan to make it possible that players can share their constructions with other players. Also, as the game has a level editor, thos newly created levels must be accessible by other players.

I have some ideas about achievements in the game and want to implement those.

Functions: I plan to develop a mechanism that allows players to create new operators and to share those with other players.

The game needs to have more levels. I have quite some ideas but want to talk to early adopters about that.

Audio: Music is missing in the game.

Copy/Paste: not implemented at the moment.

Manual: I want to write a Manual that covers every aspect of the game.”

Hvad er den nuværende tilstand for versionen med tidlig adgang?

“The game is perfectly playable. It has 64 levels and 43 operators. The videos were made with what the game offers now.”

Ændrer spillets pris sig under og efter tidlig adgang?

“Yes, once it's out of Early Access the price of the game will be raised.”

Hvordan har I tænkt jer at involvere fællesskabet i jeres udviklingsproces?

“I plan to communicate with early adopters through Steam and email. There are several aspects of the game that can change if users want to make suggestions or find that the current implementation should be changed:

User interface: This concers menus, load and save options and settings. This should work in a convenient way. It already does to a certain extent but maybe users have other opinions or suggestions.

Game mechanics: What I've implemented so far is nicely playable but I would like to know what users think about it and/or what suggestions they have for changes.

Operators: The game already features 40 operators to be used on the grid. I'd like to know if users want to see additional ones.

Tutorials and Tasks. There are 23 tutorials and 41 tasks currently. Tutorials mostly also come in the shape of a task. I think that the tutorials implemented cover everything a user needs to know. But maybe early adopters have some ideas for new tutorials or for changes in existing ones. Regarding tasks I will create new tasks and will gladly listen to users what to implement.

Steamworks: Players will be able to share content they created with other players. I will listen to early adopters in reagrd to the funtionality of this feature.

Documentation: I've implemented an in-game help system that covers all aspects of the game. I would like to know what users think. Is it sufficient? Are there additional ideas I could implement?”

Om dette spil

By placing mathematical operators on a grid and connecting them by conveyor belts you need to get to a specific result in order to solve tasks and level up.

Each task starts with a source producing numbers and a goal that expects a specific result. On the way from the source to the goal construct conveyor belts leading in and out of operators. At the end the number(s) delivered to the goal must match the requirements.

Operators are similat to what's part of a programming language, like if-else constructs, memory cells, for loops, modulo, square roots or stacks. There are also operators to display results, like a 7-Segment display.

The game uses real numbers.

Each level upgrade unlocks additional operators.

A level editor (unlocked when highest level reached) allows players to produce tasks. In the level editor a (proprietary) script language is used to calculate what number(s) the source produces and what number(s) the goal expects.

There is a sandbox mode in which players can freely build whatever they want using the operators available at the current level.

Each new operator gets explained in a tutorial or in a task.
