Star Scrap is a twin stick space combat roguelite. Take on contracts across 7 zones, fight through up to 100 waves of enemies, collect upgrade cards to build devastating combos, and claw your way out of debt one run at a time. Or throw it all away in Survival mode and see how long you last.

The Loop

Pick a contract. Set your Heat level - higher Heat means tougher enemies but bigger payouts. Fight through waves of increasingly dangerous enemies across asteroid belts, nebula clouds, derelict graveyards, and deep space. Every boss kill shifts you to a new zone. Earn credits, pay down your debt, upgrade your ship, and push deeper.

Build Your Way

Collect scrap from kills to earn upgrade cards mid run. Cards level up when you pick duplicates - max a card and it leaves the pool, thinning your choices toward the build you want. Go glass cannon, stack vampiric lifesteal, build around chain lightning synergies, or find your own broken combo. 4 synergy chains reward specific card combinations with powerful bonuses.

Your Fleet

Start in a rust bucket with 10 card slots. Earn your way through 5 ship tiers, each with unique passives - from post thrust invincibility to double damage after overheating. Higher tier ships get fewer card slots but better stats and heat efficiency. Choose your trade off.

Scrap

Your salvage drone companion reacts to everything - bosses, your health, your terrible decisions, long silences, and the occasional existential observation.

Original background art, zone transitions, and visual identity. A 14 track original soundtrack that shifts with each zone and combat phase.
