MOVILLIA is a gripping underground survival adventure set in a world where Earth as we know it has changed beyond recognition. Explore scientifically grounded biomes, utilize futuristic technologies, and uncover the mystery of a planet that has become alien to humanity.

You are part of an expedition sent to Earth years after a massive meteor strike. Your goal: to study how our home has transformed. But a landing incident drags your group deep into the planet's interior. Cut off from the surface, with no map and no hope for quick rescue, you must navigate the entire ecosystem of the "New Earth" to find a way out.

Scientific Research and Crafting

In MOVILLIA, exploration isn't just a stroll - it's the key to survival.

• Smart Scanner: Study flora and fauna. Your AI assistant will build hypotheses by comparing new chemical compounds and shell structures with old terrestrial data.

• Adaptive Crafting: All scanned data turns into blueprints. Collect alien resources to create the tools necessary for deeper descent.

                                             

Tools of the Future

Darkness and anomalies require non-standard solutions:

• LiDAR: When a flare might attract predators, scan the space with pulses. LiDAR builds a point cloud in real-time, allowing you to see through fog and darkness without revealing your location with light.

• Grappling Hook: Manage inertia and move freely through massive halls.

• Drill and Ice Axe: Mine rare ores and defend yourself against giant bats lurking in the shadows.

• Transport: Try to tame local creatures to cover vast distances.

                                             

Predators: Senses Over Sight

The cave ecosystem has adapted to darkness, and you must do the same.

• Hearing: Some creatures react to your every step. Use sound decoys or throw stones to distract them.

• Smell: Hide in pungent puddles or use gas canisters to throw pursuers off your scent.

• Vibration: If the ground shakes beneath a predator's feet - freeze or use your grappling hook to stay off the floor.

Travel through mesmerizing and dangerous biomes:

• Bioluminescent Gardens: Fields of glowing spores and giant mushrooms.

• Crystal Halls: Caves with skyscraper-sized crystals that shift the physics of light.

• Gas Lakes: Zones with altered gravity and resin traps.

• Magma Rifts: Fiery depths where Earth's core power meets alien radiation.

About the Developer

I am a solo indie developer creating this project alone. I am 20 years old and a university student. Besides gamedev, I produce music and have a passion for scientific disciplines.

MOVILLIA is my take on sci-fi survival. The idea is based on the real-life Movile Cave in Romania - an isolated ecosystem that existed for millions of years without sunlight, hosting dozens of unknown species through chemosynthesis. I wanted to bring the concept of such a unique, closed environment to life on a massive scale. That’s how this project was born.
