"Year Beast" is a survival horror game in which players need to evade the patrols of the year beasts, explore mountain villages to find and craft life-saving tools by gaining insight into their respective weaknesses, and finally survive until the end of 6:00.

Note: This game has made a lot of magic changes to the legend of the beast of the year, as well as many original content of the author, so don't take it seriously.

Storyline

You are a left-behind child in a mountain village, young people have long gone to big cities to work hard, only some middle-aged and elderly people, and children left by their parents for their livelihood live here, the Spring Festival is the only opportunity for you to see each other for a long time, but in the past three years, you have never heard from your parents again, you seem to understand something, but you never want to believe that at the funeral of your grandparents, you still don't see them, you live alone in a dilapidated house, and you can only go to the kind neighbor's house for three meals a day on weekdays. On Chinese New Year's Eve this year, some elderly people went to big cities for the New Year, and a few elderly people were forgotten by their children, and the days that should have been lively were particularly dead, you still looked forward to reuniting with your family, until 12:00 midnight, you did not wait for your parents, but bursts of dog barking, whining, and footsteps that shook the earth entered your ears......

Vigil gameplay

Before hunting, "Xi" will unfold an enchantment called "Tree Rings", creating a different space to freeze time within a certain range, and until the "Xi" hunt is over, the outside world cannot see through, and the trapped life cannot escape. The difficulty increases

1. The passage of time will bring about interlocking events, such as "blizzards" or "speeding" negative conditions that last for a long time.

2. The year beast is a general name, which is composed of four types of "evening, ghost, disaster, and leave", and the other three year beasts with different mechanisms will join the hunt in their respective time periods.

Search and production

There are dozens of houses to explore, and players must rummage through boxes to survive, such as finding "firewood" to light the stove pit, or eating food to maintain the body's heat and spirit, reading books to gain knowledge, making various tricky props, and more powerful weapons.
