About This Demo

Anomalogenos is a fishing shooter game where you reel in your line to shoot and dodge enemy bullets!

With active skills you can use during battle and passive skills that are always active, you can create a wide variety of builds!

As your gear gets stronger, you can challenge deeper levels and go in search of tougher fish and better rewards!!

We are currently working on translating the demo into English! It is scheduled to be completed by June 10!

・General Game Flow

1: Dive into the Deep Sea

Hold down the G key to dive into the cave and begin your adventure.

2: Find Fish and Start a Battle

You can start a battle by hitting a strange fish swimming on the map with a fishing hook or by having your ship collide with the fish’s body.

3: Win Battles to Occasionally Acquire Skills

Passive skills can be activated at all times by equipping them in a skill slot.

Active skills are powerful abilities that can be activated at any time.

This allows you to gain abilities that are constantly active during battle.

4: Once you’ve grown strong enough, challenge deeper layers and face the boss

You can dive to deeper layers by holding down the G key inside the cave.

When you reach a certain depth (the sixth layer), a boss will appear.

In this demo version, this boss is the final goal.

+ Once you’ve grown stronger, head to deeper layers

Once you’ve acquired passive and active skills and grown stronger, venture into deeper layers.

In the deeper layers, even more powerful fish await you.

+How does GAME OVER work?

In this game, HP, the thread gauge, and other gauges are reset after each battle,

and reaching 0 does not result in an immediate GAME OVER.

Instead, there is an energy gauge that is consumed when moving between layers or when you lose a battle.

If this energy reaches 0, it results in a GAME OVER.

If you reach GAME OVER, you will lose half of your earned rewards (chosen at random) and be returned to the starting point.

Since this energy gauge can be replenished by winning battles,

the more battles you win, the more resources you’ll have to dive deeper into the depths.

・Basic Controls

You can move using the WASD keys.

Press the E key to perform actions such as landing or entering the SHOP.

Press the SPACE key to zoom in or out on the exploration screen.

Press the G key to start an adventure or move between levels.

・How to Play During Battle

1: Dodging Projectiles

Movement using WASD remains the same as in the basic controls.

Avoid the projectiles fired by the fish.

2: Firing Projectiles

During battle, a handle for spinning the reel will appear.

You can turn the handle by moving the mouse cursor.

Turning the handle fires a projectile. Hit the fish to reduce its HP.

3: What Happens When You Take Damage?

When you take damage, the maximum value of the circular gauge around your ship decreases.

This gauge increases the farther your ship is from the fish and decreases the closer you get.

While this gauge is at its maximum, your HP will gradually decrease.

If your HP reaches 0, you lose the battle.

4: Using Active Skills

You can activate active skills by pressing the number keys 1, 2, 3, and 4.

Activating active skills consumes Mana, and there is a cooldown period between uses.

・About Skills

Passive Skills: (50 types total)

These are skills that are always active during battle.

You can activate them by equipping them in the passive skill slots located on the right side of the equipment screen.

Passive skill slots are unlocked by defeating a certain number of monster fish,

allowing you to activate more passive skills.

Active Skills: (50 types total)

These are powerful skills that you can bring into battle (up to 4 at a time).

You can activate them at any time during battle.

Each skill consumes a set amount of mana to activate.

After activation, there is a cooldown period before it can be used again.
