In this universe, two major powers vie for control: the Earth-led Earth Stellar Conquest Integration Alliance (ESIA) and the breakaway Martian faction—The Republic of the Vermilion Shield Sector (VSR).

The planet Azure, an Earth-like world rich in minerals and blessed with a thriving ecology, is one of the most coveted jewels in the galaxy. After the VSR seized it from ESIA forces, the local population endured a decade of uneasy calm and stagnation.
