Rampage-Kage is a demanding 2D Metroidvania action-platformer set in a Tokyo underworld. As Kage, you must master punishing, precision combat to dismantle city gangs. Explore an interconnected urban labyrinth, collect powerful charms to customize your skills, and survive coordinated enemy waves in a mission to reclaim the streets.

A Personal Vendetta: When the city’s ruthless gangs target his family, Kage is pushed past his breaking point. Forced into a mission of pure revenge, you must navigate the brutal Tokyo streets to hunt down those who took everything from you.

Customize Kage’s combat and traversal by discovering and equipping rare Charms hidden throughout the Tokyo underworld. Each charm fundamentally changes your tactical approach:

• Rift Ascent (Double Jump): Tear a hole in the air to gain extra height, reaching high rooftops and evading enemy flanking maneuvers.

• Cyclone Decree (Aerial Uppercut): The first tactical upgrade acquired upon entering the Tokyo underworld. This powerful vertical jumpkick serves as both a combat starter and a traversal tool. Use it to launch enemies into the air for follow-up shots or to break through high-guard defenses. Its explosive upward force allows Kage to reach elevated platforms before unlocking full mobility.

• Gecko’s Grip (Wall-Climb): Grants unnatural adherence to vertical surfaces. Scale the city's architecture to find shortcuts and tactical vantage points.

• Wraith’s Blur (Dash): A high-speed tactical dash that allows Kage to phase through enemy attacks and reposition instantly during combat.

Hardcore Resource Management

Every bullet counts in the fight against the gangs. Rampage-Kage features a strict "Kill-to-Supply" economy:

• Loot-on-Kill: Enemies do not respawn with ammo. You must execute foes to scavenge a maximum of 2 bullets per kill.

• Precision Shooting: With no rapid-fire capability, players must master the Fast Jump Shot—combining high-mobility platforming with lethal, single-shot accuracy.

"Developed in Godot with a focus on precision and hand-crafted systems. To maintain absolute control over the game’s quality and vision, generative AI was used for less than 10% of development, limited strictly to early-stage conceptual ideation for visual assets. Every final in-game asset has been manually hand-drawn, and 100% of the game’s code—including the massive 3,000+ line player controller—is hand-written. This ensures the tight, responsive gameplay essential for a high-stakes Metoridvania."
