The reconnaissance mission was a catastrophic failure. You are separated from your ship, stranded on a crumbling planet being swallowed by its own star. Your thermal suit is steadily failing, and the extraction ship is minutes away.

Solar Escape is an intense 2D survival platformer that trades combat for pure endurance. There are no monsters to shoot. Your enemy is the star itself.

SURVIVE THE SOLAR INFERNO

Your goal is simple but terrifying: endure. As the extraction timer counts down, you face relentless waves of increasing heat and environmental chaos. You don't just have to escape the heat; you have to outlast the collapse of the world around you.

MASTER THE GRAPPLE HOOK

The ground beneath you is constantly melting away. Your thermal grapple hook is your only lifeline. Use it to instantly zip to the nearest safe platform or cross impossible gaps when you have nowhere left to run.

DYNAMIC SOLAR HAZARDS

The environment is alive, hostile, and unpredictable. You must adapt fast to survive:

• Melting Platforms: Never stand still. The terrain crumbles under your boots, forcing constant movement.

• Solar Beams: Time your jumps perfectly to dodge scorching plasma lasers.

• Solar Wisps: Outrun erratic energy entities that hunt you across the map.

• Magnetic Zones: Randomly appearing anomalies that distort gravity. Adapt or lose control.

...and stay alert; the heat creates other localized anomalies that defy classification.

TACTICAL SUIT MANAGEMENT

Your Exosuit is glitching under the extreme heat. Manage your status effects carefully:

• Powerful Buffs: Scavenge modules to gain a mid-air Double Jump, execute a rapid Dash, trigger temporary Invincibility to walk through fire, or secure an Extra Life to keep the run alive.

• Crippling Debuffs: System errors are fatal; avoid hazards that Slow Down or Enlarge your suit, and stay alert for chaos-inducing anomalies that trigger Inverted Controls or Swap Buffs with Debuffs, instantly turning your advantages into liabilities.

The clock is ticking. The controls are scrambling. Can you hold out until extraction arrives?
