About This Game

You are a company employee who works late into the night. You return home to your normal daily life, just like always. However, while casually playing a video game, you are suddenly sucked right into it! Let's find the answer to why you got trapped in this game.

Somnivium is a Roguelike Deckbuilding game where strategy meets limitless creativity. Collect cards, build your deck, and fight your way through a mysterious digital world.

Key Features

  • Strategic Deckbuilding: Choose from over 30 unique cards to build your ultimate deck. Manage your energy (Cost), calculate attack damage, and defend against incoming monster attacks.

  • AI Card Fusion System: The core mechanic of the game! Combine any two cards to create a brand-new "Fusion Card". The game utilizes Local AI to generate unique art illustrations for your fused cards in real-time.

    (Note: Image generation time depends on your hardware. We recommend avoiding the AI feature on the Fusion screen for older PCs to ensure smoother gameplay.)

  • Turn-Based Battles: Engage in tactical battles against various enemies, from Slimes to Skeletons. Every turn counts—draw the right cards and use your skills wisely to survive.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

This game uses Generative AI in two ways:

1. During Development (Pre-development): Approximately 75% of the game's code was written using AI (Godot GDScript), with the remaining 25% hand-written. Additionally, all of the game's soundtrack and some pixel art backgrounds (only the trees and red crystals) were created using AI. The rest of the artwork was entirely hand-drawn.

2.During Gameplay (Live-generated): The game features a "Card Fusion" mechanic that uses a local AI model (Stable Diffusion) running on the player's hardware to dynamically generate new card illustrations. A strict keyword filtering system is in place to prevent the generation of NSFW or inappropriate content.

    • Memory: 8000 MB RAM
    • Graphics: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 (6GB VRAM) / AMD Radeon RX 580
    • DirectX: Version 11
    • Storage: 5000 MB available space
    • Sound Card: DirectX compatible
    • Additional Notes: SSD is highly recommended. The game uses local AI generation for cards, which requires significant GPU VRAM during the creation process.
