«We have completed the core development of this game. By entering into Early Access, we have the opportunity to involve the community to help guide our direction as we expand the content.»

«There are many additions we want to add, including hundreds of ideas for unique cards. We expect to be in Early Access for a year or more while we fill in the feature set, but it will depend in part on the community interest.»

«As long as we have ideas to expand our decks and available cards, we will be adding to version 1.0 and beyond just the same as we are now. We do however plan to implement achievements and cloud saving as part of the full version.»

«The current plan is the have four unique mana types, with each combination supporting a unique mechanic to allow for many different playing styles. To support the exploration of the many different card combinations, we plan to implement various single player and cooperative multiplayer campaigns.
Currently, we have implemented one single player campaign - around six hours of gameplay, fourteen unique cards, and full support for generated multiplayer battles, including cooperative teams and npcs.»

«The list price will remain the same after the full release, however as long as we are in Early Access, Firestorm will be discounted. So, feel free to keep an eye on our progress and join in when you're ready.»

Gameplay

Firestorm combines the strategic aspects of a tabletop board game with the creative freedom of a deck-building card game.  Choose your own combination of units, spells, and general chaos to overwhelm your opponents.  Unlock improvements and decide on your upgrades to guide your army in the way that suits your style of play.

Join Your Friends

With native support for both Linux and Windows, Firestorm is designed to be easily playable with your friends.  LAN multiplayer is supported with a single purchased copy of the game.  Up to eight players can play head-to-head or in cooperative teams with NPCs able to fill in the ranks.  With our simultaneous turn system, there is very little time waiting for others and even large battles can be completed in about an hour.

Labor of Love

Meticulous Software LLC is a small indie group committed to creating and growing an enjoyable experience.  There are no ads, loot boxes, or daily rewards.  There are no microtransactions or DLC.  We collect no personal data or gaming telemetry.  Absolutely no AI was used for the images, music, or as a part of any of the development of our software.  Our goal is to create a game that is fun to play, easy to learn, and difficult to master.  We hope you enjoy Firestorm, and we look forward to providing continuous free updates for as long as we're able.
