Cold War Battles is a quick playing, easy to learn, Turn Based Hex and Counter Wargame. CWB features real and hypothetical conflicts from 1945-1990. Whilst simple to pick up and play there is still plenty of tactical depth, you will need to take terrain and cover into account as you move your troops, use smoke to block line of sight, decide when and where to unload your transports or call in Artillery and face a tough AI opponent as competent at attacking as it is defending.

Whilst this release focuses mainly on what would have happened if the Cold War between NATO and the Warsaw Pact had gone 'hot' between 1945 and 1990 it also features scenarios from the fringes of the Cold War. Lead units into battle from the Northern tip of Norway in the early 80's to the Golan Heights in '73, Germany in the 80's to Vietnam in the 60's and more.
