About This Game

Sometimes... life sucks. 

Problems come at you from all directions.

It feels like the universe itself hates you.

I made this game while going through a time like that. I realized that when things go wrong, my instinct was to panic, rage, and try to hustle my way through. But it rarely worked. Usually, it just made things worse and burnt me out. I built this game to rewire my brain. To train it face chaos with presence, stillness and perseverance. To Glide Through.

Gliding Through is a peacefully chaotic top-down survivor game in which you will help a wandering soul survive an unpredictable and relentless swarm of malevolent entities. The game demands concentration and emotional control. Anger, distraction and anxiety will be swiftly punished.

Features

• Survive for 15 minutes against an unpredictable and relentless swarm of enemies.

• Players will take hours of retrying to do this. Quite a few will never make it.

• Use subtle, thoughtful and deliberate movements to avoid or destroy enemies. Button mashing and anger do not help. Trying harder only makes it harder.

• The unpredictable nature of the swarm means that every run is a fresh challenge.

• Smooth physics-based gameplay that is easy to learn but hard to master.
