FULL DESCRIPTION

LAYERED LOOP is a minimalist tower defense game.

Towers in the game automatically level up when conditions are met, gaining increased damage or production efficiency. After reaching a certain level, towers can devour adjacent key structures to evolve, unlocking new abilities or massive stat boosts.

You can build towers on top of existing ones like constructing a skyscraper, with the effects of all layers retained. Once a tower stack reaches 5 levels, it grants various global buffs based on its composition.

Build endless towers in limited spaces to fend off the endless waves of enemies!

CORE MECHANICS

• MODULAR STACKING AND MIRACLES (5-LAYER WONDERS)

• Stacking — After a tower is passed by a hero a certain number of times and reaches a set level, you may build a new structure on top of it, just like on a normal tile.

  The cost: all layers below the top one lose their growth ability.

• Miracle — Layer 1 → 2 → … → 5.

  When a stack reaches 5 layers, a Miracle awakens, granting powerful global buffs to all structures on the field.

  (Current version: Demo — only 4 Miracles available.)

• EVOLUTION SYSTEM

Each structure has 3 evolution stages.

Each evolution requires reaching a certain level and consuming an adjacent Key structure, in exchange for far greater power.

• Tier 2: Enhanced Variant

• Tier 3: Ultimate Form — beyond the ordinary

• SYNERGY & RESONANCE

• Synergy — Structures affect one another:

  • Data Station (S): generates Data Energy

  • Defense Tower (D): converts Data Energy into bullets

  • Booster (B): increases fire rate of nearby structures

  • Amplifier (A): exponentially boosts damage of lower layers

    And more.

• Resonance — When a hero passes by, different structures trigger different effects:

  • Passing S grants Data Energy

  • Passing D refills its Data Energy

  • Passing L gives free draws, etc.

    Resonance is also a required condition for stacking.
