Why Early Access?

“I worked on the game until I felt I made a map that was fun enough, and I then went back and fixed all the maps to that standard. I want to add more maps and especially random generated maps to offer replayability.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“A few months, I am influenced by games such as Civilization and multiplayer RTS, which offer replayability . So I'm going to attempt to do it in a single player RTS.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“A few more single player maps and robot boss units.
Attempt to make replayable maps that can be randomized.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“It is fully working with 16 maps plus 5 tutorials, and over 25 hours of game play.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually raise the price as we ship new content and features.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I am looking for advice on how well the game plays. I have to go early access now to get feedback since I have been developing this game without having anyone else test the game.”

About This Game

Welcome to JKRobots, a Real Time Strategy game where you fight against waves of robots.

  • Capture areas, extract resources, build units and upgrade, defend against attacks.

  • Generate enough energy to power and balance the needs of Defense, Offense, and Economy.

  • This is not a RTS that you sit in the base, gather a maximum size army and then death ball.

  • The game requires the player to push the robot off a large potion of the map, while the robots push back in larger waves in the later maps.

  • Has 16 maps and over 20 hours of game play
