CRASHLAND is a VR action-horror game set on a hostile alien planet. You play as an intergalactic gladiator who is repeatedly crashlanding, and the goal in each mission is simple: survive until rescue. Combat is fast and brutal, and there is nowhere to hide.

Each mission is a short, intense burst of combat (around 5–10 minutes) against increasingly deadly and bizarre creatures. You will die a lot while you learn what works and what doesn’t. Strategic use of the motion scanner and teleporter is crucial — you need to stay two moves ahead to survive. Teleports are limited, and running out is usually how you end up dead, so you’ll be scanning, repositioning, and making every kill count.

To live, you’ll need to master the smart pistol, boomstick, scanner, and teleporter. As you gain XP you can level up and unlock perks that can radically alter how the game plays, letting you build a loadout that fits your style.

You’ll face around 100 unique creatures, with each of the 36 missions introducing new threats, such as blood sucking ticks, web spitting spiders, prehistoric terror birds and giant hellworms. Many creatures use procedural animation to help encounters feel visceral and unpredictable, with AI-driven locomotion and dynamic ragdoll behaviour. Missions span biomes like desert, tundra, forest, and mountains, with weather like howling winds, rain, thunderstorms, and snow.
