Mayday is a wave-based sci-fi shoot 'em up where every clear makes you stronger… and weaker.

Pilot the Skylon, a prototype combat craft built to adapt on the fly. Survive enemy swarms, dodge dense projectile patterns, and wipe out targets fast—then after each wave, choose a tradeoff upgrade in a brutal triangle system: Attack lowers Defence, Defence lowers Speed, and Speed lowers Attack.

Core Gameplay Loop

• Fight through waves of enemies with escalating bullet patterns and retaliation attacks.

• Clear a set number of enemies to progress through each area.

• After a wave, pick a stat specialization with a downside:

  • Attack ↑ / Defence ↓
    

  • Defence ↑ / Speed ↓
    

  • Speed ↑ / Attack ↓
    

• Learn enemy behaviour, build the right stat path, and survive long enough to reach each boss.

Story Mode

In a future where peace is protected from the shadows by the Agent Society, a rogue group, the Fallen Star Organization, is hunting a myth and trying to awaken a superweapon.

You’re deployed as Agent Mayday, linked with the Skylon’s operating system, Elizabeth, and sent into the Alyphs Quadrant to shut down the enemy bases before Nova changes everything.

Arcade Mode

Arcade Mode is pure action: no cutscenes, just continuous progression through stages of enemy waves leading to bosses. If you’re here for the gameplay grind, the dodging, and the build decisions.

• Wave-based shoot ’em up combat focused on dodging projectile patterns and fast clears.

• A triangle stat-tradeoff upgrade system that forces real build decisions every run.

• Boss fights and escalating enemy pressure as you push toward the finale.

• Story Mode with cutscenes + Arcade Mode for replayable runs.
