About the Demo

Welcome to try our early version of the game!

• In this demo, we've prepared seven levels from the famous "Seven Victories in 5 Battles in Central Jiangsu"! In July 1946, Li Mo'an led 120,000 Kuomintang troops in a three-pronged attack on the Central Jiangsu Liberated Area, while the Central China Field Army only had 30,000 available troops! What a stark disparity in strength! You will assume the role of General Su Yu, the "502 General“, commanding this famous battle where a smaller force defeated a larger one. With the Kuomintang army pressing forward, can you fully utilize the essence of mobile warfare? Can you annihilate half of the invading Kuomintang forces while preserving your own forces? Commander, begin to showcase your art of command!

• The demo version still has many shortcomings, including potential bugs, less-than-smooth interactive feedback, unremarkable art style, and flawed level design. If you encounter any of these issues, please feel free to provide feedback!

About the Game

Crimson Banner: War of Liberation allows you to take command of the People's Liberation Army during the fully erupted Civil War of 1946, leading your forces across the vast landscapes of China. Utilize your strategic artistry to issue diverse orders to the Red Army, managing their logistics and supply lines to secure victory in the struggle for China's liberation. The gameplay framework of Crimson Banner: War of Liberation follows the excellent introductory wargame series Unity of Command and introduces improvements upon it. If you are also a fan of 2x2 games, this is the Chinese perspective title made for you!
