O tej grze

The Buddy Signal is a 3D puzzle platformer where you control two characters:

Use BG’s abilities to help smol advance! Each level is filled with puzzles to solve and platforming challenges to traverse.

Designed with expressiveness and creativity in mind, The Buddy Signal offers a fun puzzle platformer experience that will keep you engaged throughout!

When playing as the small 3D platformer character smol, you have a wide and expressive move set at your disposal. This can be used to speedrun levels in Time Trial Challenge, or to find creative and high-skill solutions to the problems you face within the game.

If this intimidates you, do not worry! It will be possible to reach the end of the game with only a more basic grasp of smol's acrobatic abilities. Ensuring the game is accessible to all, while offering a challenge to those that seek it!

When playing as the big first person character BG, you can arrange and orient Objects in the game world. This ability can be used to build structures for smol. There are three different Object Types: Basic, Stable and Sticky Objects, each with their own properties.

The game also features various Machines and a Cable system that connect them to each other and allow for many engaging puzzles throughout the game. Some of the Machines in the game include:

  • Various types of buttons and switches

  • Doors

  • Laser Emitters, Mirrors and Receivers

  • Sensors

  • Logic Gates (such as OR, AND, NOT etc.)

  • and more!

All the Puzzles in the game are connected by Portals in the hub world. Each Portal features multiple Puzzles accessible through its connected buttons and you can access any of them in any order you want. Objects then can be used in order to gain access to new Portals and therefore, more Puzzles! 

The hub world is also a great place to rest and practice your movement and building skills!

Each Portal is connected to a different part of the planet and therefore allow you to explore various biomes with different climates and times of day. Explore biomes with luscious greenery, snow storms, volcanic ash and dangerous thunderstorms, all on a faraway flooded world.

While you're at it, don't forget to look up at the majestic planetary ring and the black hole the planet orbits!
