Perfore is a game set in a medieval world where each continent is an island, each island a country, each country a kingdom, and each village a city with a lord. The world is a kingdom, each island a state, and each state has a king, and everyone wants to become the supreme ruler (Perforian). The story takes place in 2010, where technology has remained largely medieval, albeit somewhat rudimentary, due to the influence of magic.

Perfore the Pre-Adventure has only one difficulty level and a short story that takes place before the events of Perfore: The Perfore Request, which involves Princess Carolanne.

It's a semi-3D D2 game (D2 in isometric view).
