Trapped in a hell forced upon you, Ommetaphobia takes you into your mind to face the fears that have been embedded within you throughout your formative years. Your only source of help is a doctor who guides you through your mind, and your trusty lighter. Burn the watchers as they consume your very energy, and take back what they have taken from you. Don't let your trepidation overcome you, and don't let your memories tamper with your only means of survival.

What is Ommetaphobia?

Ommetaphobia is a shoot-em-up akin to those found within the arcade. Throughout the game, you will be lighting your lighter and shooting fireballs towards the watchers; Collecting points, sparks, and regaining energy taken from them as they are burnt. You progress through six different levels, with each growing progressively harder and more chaotic as the music amplifies and the watchers grow stronger, as the trepidation grows larger.

An Overarching Story Within

Ommetaphobia features an overarching narrative that takes the player through the gameplay and hints at something beyond the view you are given. Each level has its own dialogue, and portion of the story that helps drive you through each level.

Grow Stronger Against Your Fears

Ommetaphobia puts you against your past traumas, and your only defense is your trusty lighter and your unwavering perseverance. Across the levels you will be able to upgrade your lighter, allowing you to handle more of the watching onslaught.

Until The End

Ommetaphobia's journey doesn't just end once you conquer your trepidation. Keep an eye out for the next step as you go forward, keep your malice at bay. You will know once you reach the end.
