「Metal Goose is still a work in progress, and I would like to involve you, the players, in its development. I'll read and consider all your suggestions and do my best to make the game the best it can be!」

「The game will remain in early access until the second area is completed and polished, which is expected to take about a year.」

「Currently, the first of three areas in the game has been made. When the full version is released, the gameplay may differ slightly, and the game will be more balanced and polished. Overall, you can expect more content to be added. 」

「The game currently features area 1 of 3, which is largely polished and playable. Many interactions between enemies and the player's weapons have already been implemented, with more to come in future patches. 」

In this world...

  • Metal Goose is a fast and gritty retro shooter inspired by games like ULTRAKILL and Doom Eternal, with a focus on melee combat.

  • A global war has been raging for 68 years, and it is now your turn to serve Goose Nation and face the Chicken armies on the front lines of battle.

  • Play through action-packed levels and explore them to uncover secrets and shortcuts, letting you replay them over and over again.

Grow your arsenal...

  • Absolutely EGGSTERMINATE your opponents with mode-changing weapons and equipment.

  • Almost any weapon will interact with others, allowing for versatile playstyles and a limitless skill ceiling. 

  • Look really cool™ when you take out hordes of enemies at once with counter-attacks.

Face your foes...

  • Face off against robotic armies of the Chickens as you make your way through a world laid to waste by endless warfare.

  • Learn the moves of your enemies, dodge them with style, and strike back with a vicious counter-attack.

  • Cause chaos with the wacky interactions between your weapons and your foes.

About the developer:

Hi! I'm Kiakkers, I'm 15, and this is my first indie game. I have been learning game development since I was around 9, and to this day, I'm still figuring out how it's done. Development on Metal Goose began in June 2024, and any feedback you can provide is greatly valued!
