Coming Soon To Early Access

The developers of this game intend to release as a work in progress, developing with the feedback of players.

Note: Games in Early Access are not complete and may or may not change further. If you are not excited to play this game in its current state, then you should wait to see if the game progresses further in development. Learn more

What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Orbita is a systems-driven sandbox built around discovery, experimentation, and emergent mechanics. Because of this, player feedback is extremely valuable to shape how these systems evolve.

Early Access allows us to expand the game alongside the community, improving balance, introducing new elements, and refining interactions based on real player behavior rather than assumptions.

We want Orbita to grow organically, with players helping define what works, what feels fun, and what deserves to be expanded.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect Orbita to remain in Early Access for around 6 to 12 months, depending on development progress and community feedback.

The goal is not to rush to a “finished” state, but to iterate and expand the game’s systems until they feel complete and satisfying.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to expand Orbita with:

-New elements and material interactions
-More complex systems and automation tools
-Improved UI, feedback, and clarity for discovery systems
-More long-term progression and goals

We also plan to continue polishing performance, visuals, and overall player experience.

The full version aims to offer a deeper and more complete sandbox, with more possibilities and clearer progression.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The core gameplay loop of Orbita is already complete.

Players can:

-Generate and manipulate different types of orbs
-Discover new elements through combinations and interactions
-Experiment with physics-based mechanics like collisions, merging, heat, and energy
-Unlock materials progressively through gameplay
-Automate resource gathering with physics based tools

While the foundation is solid and fully playable, the game is still expanding. Some systems are being refined, and more content, interactions, and quality-of-life improvements are planned.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We are not planning to increase the base price during or after Early Access.

Instead, we may run discounts during Early Access as new content and updates are released.

This allows players to join at different stages of development while keeping the base price consistent.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback is a key part of Orbita’s development.

We actively read and respond to feedback through:

Discord

Steam discussions

Community suggestions and bug reports

Players help shape the game by suggesting ideas, reporting issues, and sharing how they interact with the systems.

Updates, changes, and improvements are often influenced directly by community input, and we plan to continue building Orbita together with players.”

About This Game

Orbita is a physics-based sandbox game focused on experimentation, discovery, and automation.

Orbs of different elements drift through space, influenced by gravity, momentum, and collisions. When orbs interact, they can merge, split, transform, or trigger chain reactions, creating entirely new materials with unique behaviors.

There are no predefined recipes shown to the player. Progress comes from observing interactions, testing combinations, and learning how elements influence one another. Some materials emit auras, others react to movement, pressure, or proximity, and certain elements can only be created through complex multi-step processes.

As your understanding grows, you can build automated systems using fields, portals, splitters, and converters to guide orb movement and reactions. Carefully designed setups allow you to mass-produce materials, stabilize volatile elements, or create self-sustaining reaction loops.

Orbita rewards curiosity and creative problem-solving. Whether you’re experimenting freely or engineering precise automated machines, every system you build becomes part of a living, evolving simulation.
