This may be the most hopeless walking simulator you will ever play. Built on real geographical data, the game recreates the Ao Tai Line’s infamous "Sea of Stones" (Talus Fields), knife-edge ridges, and primitive fir forests. You must navigate treacherous terrain: maintain balance on slippery moss, find footing among loose boulders, and discern direction in dense fog with visibility under 5 meters. One misstep means the abyss.

Weight & Trade-offs: The Philosophy of Survival

Your lifeline is entirely on your back. Featuring a hyper-realistic gear management system. From the temperature rating of your sleeping bag to the precise calculation of gas canisters and high-calorie rations—even the weight of every painkiller in your medkit must be scrutinized.

• Ultralight (UL) or Heavy Hauler? Carrying less gear makes you agile, but leaves you helpless against sudden blizzards; carrying a full load offers security, but the crushing weight will rapidly drain your stamina, leading to knee failure or total exhaustion.

Dynamic Weather & Vitals: Battling Entropy

The Qinling Mountains are notorious for "experiencing four seasons in one day." The game features a dynamic weather engine. A clear blue sky can transform into a violent Whiteout Blizzard in less than ten minutes. You must constantly monitor your Core Body Temperature, Heart Rate, Blood Oxygen (SpO2), and Calorie Reserves.

• Hypothermia Simulation: As your core temperature drops, your vision blurs, input controls lag, and hallucinations begin to manifest. You must decide: push through the mountain pass or set up camp on the spot and pray for survival.

The Human Element: Multi-Perspective Narrative

The mountains remain silent, but those who walk them have stories. You are not a single protagonist. You will play as—or encounter—different hikers:

• The disillusioned middle-aged soul seeking redemption.

• The overconfident "Power Hiker" rookie.

• The mysterious, solitary Ranger.

• ...And perhaps, the spirits of those who fell here decades ago. Different characters become your storytellers. Through their diaries, lost cameras, or brief conversations on the trail, you will piece together the joys and tragedies that have occurred on this ridge. Every success or failure adds a new legend to the mountain.

 Choices & Encounters: The Unknown in the Mist

On this desolate path, you are never truly alone.

• Random Events: Face-offs with the Golden Takin (a national protected species), sudden gear failure, dried-up water sources, or discovering the remains of previous hikers.

• Mental Threshold: Prolonged isolation and extreme environments erode your sanity. Will you follow the "teammate" beckoning to you from the fog, or trust the GPS in your hand?

• Cairns & Markers: Every stone cairn is a gesture of goodwill from those who came before, but after the snowstorm, do the markers still point to safety?
