Black Omens: House of Crimson Silk is a first-person, single-player, escape room style puzzle horror game set in a fictional location within the late Edo era Japan.

Play as Idate Chiyo, a newly recruited paranormal investigator of the Tokugawa Shogunate's Magical Arcane Division, tasked with her first assignment to investigate the string of strange occurrences reported to originate from a long abandoned mansion sequestered within the forested interior of the small coastal city of Gōtsu in Shimane Prefecture.
