Stack Order is a narrative roguelite deckbuilder set in a world defined by tense, one-on-one duels against bosses, where raw power is as important as foresight.

Every turn is a tactical puzzle: the enemy reveals their plan, and you must construct the perfect response with your cards. Will you panic and defend? Or will you take the hit to build a combo that ends the fight next turn?

STACKING FOR THE WIN

Forget standard card play. Here, you must stack your actions. The order matters, cards placed next and above each other interact, trigger synergies, and modify abilities.

• Chain Reactions: Inflict a weakening blow before a strong punch to multiply your results.

• Delayed Gratification: Set up cards in attack for next turn while preparing a defense pile for this turn.

PREDICT THE UNSTOPPABLE

Bosses in Stack Order telegraph their every move. Once you have learned all of them, the challenge no longer lies in reacting to the unexpected, but in finding a solution when the odds are stacked against you. Each boss has unique patterns and weaknesses you must acknowledge. Beware, a strategy that defeated a boss might get you in trouble against the next one.

Progress comes with experimentation. As you move forward, you will unlock cards, modifiers and items that will transform your playstyle. Overwhelm your opponents before they can attack with risky offensive combinations, or take your time and opt for a defensive counterattack. Find the right combination of cards and modifiers for devastating turns that leave your enemies defenseless!
