Astral Remembrance is a 4.5-hour, single-player cinematic adventure-platformer. Step into the role of a young pilgrim on a final rite of passage: a journey to the ancestral resting grounds where the physical and spiritual planes softly intertwine. What begins as a traditional pilgrimage soon becomes a quiet reckoning—revealing who we truly are and what we carry with us.

CORE GAMEPLAY & MECHANICS

The heart of the experience is Dual-Plane Navigation, governed by your spiritual attunement. You aren’t just moving through one world, but two:

• Astral Projection: At key moments, project your spirit into the astral plane to reveal hidden paths and ghostly platforms. This state is temporary—your spiritual energy is a limited resource. You must plan your route and act with precision before your connection to the spirit world fades.

• Intertwined Puzzles: Solve environmental challenges that exist across both dimensions. Strategic use of your projection is required: move a physical block to create a "spirit shadow," or phase-shift at the exact right moment to bypass a physical obstacle.

• Precision Platforming: Traverse Ancient Forests, Forgotten Temples, and the Astral Plane using fluid climbing, momentum-based jumps, and mid-air spirit dashes.

GROWTH & NARRATIVE

While the game is a focused, linear experience, your mastery of the world grows as you descend deeper:

• Mastery of Motion: As the terrain becomes more treacherous, you must learn to combine movement mechanics (climbing, dashing, and jumping) into a single, fluid flow to overcome shifting geometry.

• Environmental Storytelling: With no traditional combat, the environment itself is your adversary. The story is told wordlessly through the shifting world, reflecting your character’s internal reckoning and the memories of those who walked the path before you.
