Story Premise

Earth has been consumed by "The Swarm," a relentless mechanical hive-mind that left our world a hollow husk. You command the last survivors drifting through the void, but you are trapped in a recursive nightmare, a time loop where every death is merely a reset to the moment of the first assault.

You are no longer just running for survival; you are hunting the Primordial Entity responsible for the loop. As you fight through the abyss, you will engage in tense dialogues with Swarm bosses that reveal a deeper truth about your struggle. Master the cycle of death and rebirth, refine your tactical determination, and find the strength to finally shatter the loop and reclaim a future for humanity.

Swarmfall is a game where you pilot a colossal Starship, leading the final remnants of humanity. It is a unique 2D "bullet heaven" roguelite with automated defensive fleets, fast-paced manoeuvring, and massive alien swarms to destroy.

Evade the swarm. What is the swarm? An endless armada of geometric alien horrors, when destroyed, they drop scrap, and scrap is amazing. It allows you to purchase and upgrade escort ships to build your fleet. The Mothership must survive. Shooting the enemy is only half the battle, however, as you don't aim the weapons yourself. Your sole focus is piloting the Starship through the chaos to collect the scrap before you are overwhelmed.

Acquire and upgrade your fleet. Your escort ships represent the heart of the game. They are responsible for your defence and destroying the swarm. Your fleet adapts varying methodologies to reach its goal. Some are rapid-firing fighters that orbit closely, others are heavy bombers that unleash explosive blasts. You have ships that fire piercing lasers, and ships designed purely to absorb impacts. All for a single purpose, the survival of the Starship.

A strategic roguelite, Swarmfall, is about surviving escalating waves, but how you do that is up to you. At your disposal:

• A diverse roster of ships, with their varying strengths and firing patterns

• Upgrades that enhance and modify your Starship's core stats

• Synergies that allow you to combine different ship types for devastating geometric crossfire

• Movement and collection upgrades to enhance how efficiently you gather scrap

• Intense boss encounters that test the limits of your custom fleet
