为何要采用抢先体验这种模式？

“Evertown needs some more time of development until it's called a complete game. The game has been developed for about 10 months now (since the last engine rewrite) and its fans have been so amazing! I try to be as responsive as I can and it'll stay like this.

I need feedback from the players, to develop a cool, optimized, and full of content game. Evertown needs you to become UNIQUE!”

这款游戏的抢先体验状态大约持续多久？

“Until its core mechanics are finished (such as heroes progression and skills). A couple of months and it should be out of EA, to be more precise.”

计划中的完整版本和抢先体验版本到底有多少不同？

“I intend to add lots of things: buildings, units, heroes and game modes!

I've been working hard to make low-end PCs run it, with performance tweaks and graphics/effects settings.

I want its normal mode to be focused on bosses, they will eventually show up and players will need to defeat them before they cause some chaos. I'm also planning a "Survival of the fittest" mode and a hero mode (where you get to control your hero only, in a Diablo-like adventure).

Map editor, boats, multi-language support are also on my list. And the last but not least, a port to my dear Linux!”

抢先体验版本的现状如何？

“Beta. It's playable, and you can have hours of fun already: trying to defend your town, making an army, getting resources and not letting your population starve to death.”

在抢先体验期间和结束之后，游戏价格会有所不同吗？

“Yes. The final version's price may differ from the current (probably 30% more expensive). The plan is to gradually raise its price as it gets more content. But don't worry, it won't cost too much!”

在开发过程中，你们是如何计划让玩家社区参与进来的？

“Feedback from the community has always been incredibly important to the development of Evertown (formerly Towncraft 2). Not only for balancing, but also new features and game modes.

Early Access will allow its players to test and provide feedback to make it become a great game.

Me, as a developer, have always listened to the game's fans. I appreciate as much feedback as I can get (be it positive or negative), especially when it comes to: difficulty, progression & balancing.”
