What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Crime Union is a strategy and management game built around multiple interconnected systems, including territory control, agent management, law enforcement pressure (Heat), illicit finances, rival organizations, and supply chains.

We are using Early Access to observe how these systems behave under real player strategies and decision-making. This process helps us identify balance issues, pacing problems, and unintended interactions that are difficult to fully predict without a live player base. Early Access allows us to refine the core experience while the game is actively played.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Crime Union is currently expected to remain in Early Access for approximately 6–9 months.

This timeframe is an estimate and may change depending on development needs, technical considerations, and feedback gathered during Early Access. The goal during this period is to improve stability, balance, usability, and long-term pacing rather than to rapidly add large, untested systems.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version of Crime Union includes the game’s core systems and primary gameplay loop.
The full version is intended to further develop and refine these foundations.

Areas that may see expansion or improvement over time include:

Additional depth for mid- and late-game progression

Further iteration on rival organizations and global pressure mechanics

Additional tuning options for agent management, economy, and Heat systems

User interface clarity, visual feedback, and overall presentation polish

These plans reflect current development intentions and may evolve as the game and community feedback develop.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version of Crime Union is playable and stable.

Players can currently:

Expand operations across a global map

Recruit, manage, and permanently lose agents

Generate and manage both legitimate and illicit income

Navigate law enforcement pressure through the Heat system

Compete with rival criminal organizations for regional control

Establish production, storage, and shipment-based supply chains

The game does not aim to present a finalized endgame structure at this stage, but the available systems are designed to support extended play sessions and strategic decision-making.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually raise the price as we ship new content and features”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback is an important part of Crime Union’s development process.

Player input will be primarily gathered through:

Steam user reviews

Community discussion forums

Feedback will be used to help identify balance concerns, pacing issues, usability problems, and areas where systems may benefit from further iteration. This information helps guide development priorities during Early Access.”

About This Game

🌍 Global Control

Start from a small hub and build your network across the world.

Every country means new opportunities, new risks, and new enemies.

The more you grow, the more visible you become.
The more visible you are, the more you become a target.

💰 Balance Between Dirty Money and Clean Money

Clean money is safe.

Dirty money is powerful.

You cannot spend dirty money directly.

You must launder it, hide it, or take risks.

Fast profit leaves more traces.

Safe paths take time.

🧠 Decisions

There are no right decisions.

Only consequences.

👥 Agent Management

Agents are not numbers.

They have desires, flaws, and limits.

Train them, assign them, promote them…

🎯 Missions and Operations

Every operation is a risk calculation.

Team strength, chosen agents, and luck determine the outcome.

Success makes you grow.

Failure makes you visible.

🏭 Supply Chain

Produce, store, distribute.

Build laboratories, manufacture products, manage warehouses, and carry out contracted shipments.

In every shipment, you decide on logistics, security, and bribery.

Large shipments bring large profits.

But they attract even more attention.

🃏 Card Battles and Rival Gangs

Conflict with rival gangs is inevitable.

These conflicts are resolved through strategic card battles using cards earned from operations.

You can fight, negotiate, or retreat.

🚨 Police Pressure and Investigations

Every illegal move increases police pressure.

High pressure leads to raids and investigations.

You can buy time, erase traces, or make sacrifices.

But when all eyes are on you, nothing is guaranteed.

📈 Progress and Specialization

Making money keeps you alive.

But to progress, you must take action.

Which path you choose to specialize in is entirely up to you.
