À propos de ce jeu

In a world where the only people who can produce Magic are deeply influenced by Demons, two old friends stand at a crossroads.

Sylvain  and Celeste are both Mages, and have spent most of their lives confined to an Alchemical Institute.

A little over a day ago, Sylvain ran away. This kind of thing can get a Mage in serious trouble.

When Celeste runs after, hoping to persuade him to come back peacefully before the guards come in full force, what follows is a pivotal moment for both of them.

Guide them through the conversation that will set the course of their lives. Decide what they say, when they stay silent, and what thoughts they entertain. The choices you make in that short time will change them both forever.

Each of the 20 possible endings is a story unto itself, expanding into the days or even years ahead to reveal the subtle, lasting consequences of your choices.

Don’t be fooled by the sketchbook illustrations and acoustic guitar soundtrack—this one gets dark, and the consequences are real.

Heading: "A talk beneath the tree"

  • Branch the conversation freely. Every choice leaves a mark.

  • Play as two characters, each with unique personality, history, and secrets

  • Individual playthroughs are short. The real game starts when you begin to explore what might have been ... and what still could be

  • Lore-rich high fantasy with deeply human themes

  • Loose, “sketchbook” visual style, hand drawn in wax crayon

  • Fully voiced

  • Acoustic guitar soundtrack

Heading: "Celeste"

Celeste has had enough of this nonsense. She’s made peace with being a Mage and living at the Institute. She works hard on her research projects, and she’s proud of what she does. She thinks Sylvain needs to get his head on straight and come home—but she doesn’t yet see the full picture of what’s driving him.

Heading: "Sylvain"

Sylvain has his own ideas about life, and has no desire to spend the rest of his years sequestered in a fortress. He’s driven by philosophy and passion, and he wants to assert his freedom, living without apology for the danger his existence brings. He hopes Celeste might do the same.

The fate of their friendship - and perhaps their lives - hinges on this one conversation.
