Hearth and Hamlet is a unique experience where incremental idle gameplay meets citybuilder satisfaction and policy management. Gather enough food to keep your expanding population healthy, and accumulate materials to construct new buildings and grow your settlement - All the while, unlocking shops, magic, policies, and new technologies! Assign workers to maximise your production, trade with strange new lands, and set your new kingdom on the path to greatness!

Starting with nothing more than a simple campfire and a tent, build your way up to a small village, then a larger town, and a great, bustling city with towering buildings, magical academies, and thriving neighborhoods! The frontier is always calling! Construct roads to make travel and trade faster and cleaner. Open a tavern for food and fun. Mine for gold and other precious resources. Build colorful marketplaces and luxurious villas. Soon enough, that simple campfire will be just a long-ago story: a legend for the residents of your kingdom to tell their children.  

BUILDING IS ONLY THE FIRST STEP

Once your community begins to take shape, it will become important to manage it. Set laws and policies, build lavish residences for your leaders, establish rules of taxation to earn more income and resources, and draft city guards to protect your settlement from monsters and raiders. Manage the residents’ happiness to earn bonuses which boost resource production, and stockpile as much food as possible to drive greater and greater population growth! Every upgrade unlocks new research options to give permanent perks.
