What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Budz is already fun thanks to its physics driven core mechanics and environmental puzzles, but we have much more planned. Early Access lets us expand the game alongside the community.

We aim to add new levels, broaden puzzle variety, and experiment with mechanics that could evolve into entirely new modes. Player feedback will guide these additions as we refine and improve the experience on the road to full release.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“6 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to introduce several additional levels featuring new environmental puzzles and distinct themes, such as planetary settlements.

We also plan to add two new game modes.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Fully playable and packed with physics-driven chaos across 3 distinct space stations, each filled with a wide range of platformer puzzles.

Karate-chop your friends, climb almost anything, and tether anyone to anyone (or anything) across shifting gravity zones and unusual space stations full of platformer-style puzzles. With built-in voice chat too!”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to raise the price at full release to reflect the expanded scope of the game.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to actively listen to player feedback across Steam discussions, reviews, social media, and other community channels, and use that feedback to guide bug fixes, gameplay improvements, balance changes, and future content during Early Access.”

About This Game

Join the world’s most unstable task force (that’s exactly you and your buddies, by the way).

No plan. No order.

Fix issues across multiple space stations by solving puzzle-like problems… usually while your team makes everything harder than it needs to be.

Find creative (certainly not annoying) ways to do even the simplest stuff.

Timing is everything.. as long as your teammates don't intercept.

You can catch your breath too, while making an Olympic jump.

Space tech glasses.. guaranteed fall.

Of course all of these are not for nothing. We are after hacking the mad AI. (Just mission 1)

Grab    Tether    Climb    Dash    Swing    Use    Punch    Jump    Run

In any order.

Oh and yes, you can grab your friends and accidentally “lose” them to open space in more ways than we probably should admit. Built-in voice chat will make those moments unforgettable.

You are a fixer crew sent to ruined space stations. Handle problems using physics and questionable teamwork.

Each mission is a new station.

Shut down the station management AI.

Well. It’s gone mad and now demands absolute hygiene, enforced by murder mops.

There’s more to this mission, of course. Surprise, surprise.

Remove the station’s one and only power core. Take it to the repair shop. Bring it back.

Why? It went unstable, shifted gravity at random, and ejected… well… station personnel into deep space.

They’re still floating there to this day.

Fix the damage caused by a nasty space rock.

A space rock came out of nowhere and hit the station. Instead of a proper repair crew, they sent you.

The catch? Not just repairs. The biolab is compromised. Oops.

Beware: Alien specimens guests are loose.
