A normal day at a not-so-normal office job has turned into the most terrifying adventure possible after something (?) happens and supernatural creatures appear, men turn into monsters, and the dead come back to life. As it happens, you are right in the center of all of this, and all odds are against you making it out alive.

• Use your Flashlight

After doing some questionable electrical work, you've managed to convert your company-issue PDA into a portable light source. Unfortunately, nothing else on the PDA works, so you can't call for help.

To make matters worse, the PDA is stuck to your arm, and you can't run as fast while using the light. Oh, and it might break sometimes.

• Everything Wants to Kill You

You are not alone. You might not like being alone, but you'd take loneliness over the threat of being violently murdered any day. 

Let me slow down a bit. There are monsters. Lots of them. And all of them work differently. Some can't move in the light, and will exsanguinate you the second it goes dark. Some can't see, but will disembowel you the second you make a noise. Some can't even move, but will still skewer you as soon as you move into their sight. Some are even more enigmatic. 

In order to survive, you will need to learn and adapt. Use news from old TVs, dead bodies, and trails of blood. These will become valuable clues that you can use to give yourself an advantage.

• Escape the Corporation's Vast Headquarters

The offices are just a small part of Amusden's intricate network of storage facilities, sewer tunnels, and factories that run for over three kilometers in every direction. A mixture of poor maintenance in some and impeccably good maintenance in others has complicated your escape as much as possible, and you will have to jump through many metaphorical hoops in order to progress; locked doors, sealed gates, puddles of electrified water, and disabled generators all stand in your way. And while you're fixing and/or breaking everything, you'll have to avoid getting killed by all the monsters I just mentioned.

• Discover What Happened

The Corporation has many things behind closed doors never meant for your eyes. Go find them! - Even if it means ignoring all warnings and going exactly where you shouldn't. But if all it takes is a few extra monster encounters and a bit more flashlight use, why shouldn't you? Of course, you should probably escape at least once first.

Oh, and did I mention that your PDA can shift your consciousness between alternate timelines in the event of your death? Well, it can, so feel free to die to your heart's content (or lack of, in the case of death by extreme bleeding)
