Four centuries ago, the Fallen Sun made an empire of an otherwise myopic and incompetent cult.

Having succumbed to either clarity or madness, the Blind King divided its power, and war erupted over the pieces. A prolonged churn of dead elites saw the former empire settle into a balance between three equal powers.

Today, the empire's ruins dot the hinterlands, and the Fallen Sun's rituals remain lost to memory.

The Cult Returns to the Hinterlands

They were taught that the Sun Cult was shaken off in revolution ten generations ago, and are used to resolving issues like property disputes, petty theft, and chronic annoyances caused by Daniela's schemeing brother, Angelo.

In nearby Alistair, a new group is gathered around a mysterious duo who appeared seemingly from nowhere.
