Story

Officer Mike Walsh is on a break from his wife, Eileen, and stuck with a routine assignment: checking an abandoned barn outside Portland after a series of complaints. It’s supposed to be quiet, boring work.

Over time, the lack of sleep, isolation, and stress start to wear on him. Small things feel off. Sounds don’t make sense. Details change. Walsh knows he’s showing signs of paranoia, and the only thing keeping him functional is his medication.

Whether the barn is actually changing, or Walsh is losing his grip, isn’t clear.

Objective

Day 22 is a first part of two games that in total takes place over 22 days. Each day, you inspect the barn and its surroundings.

At the end of the day, you take a pill:

• White if you believe nothing was wrong

• Black if you noticed something off

Take the right one and you move on.
Take the wrong one and the day restarts.

Pay attention. Trust your judgment. Or don’t.

In this short horror experience you will uncover the truth of the woods outside the area of Portland, and how it is changing Walsh for the worse.
