為何採用搶先體驗模式?

「I see Early Access as a crucial part of the indie development lifecycle. Runt9 Productions is really just me right now, so in order to get feedback to make the game the best it can be, I absolutely must leverage Early Access. The goal is to constantly improve the game while adapting to feedback from the community.」

「The current expectation is roughly 1 year. Based on the prepared roadmap (subject to change), there should hopefully be a new update roughly every 4-8 weeks throughout 2026 with the current ideal goal of releasing towards the end of 2026 or into early 2027.」

「The current plan (subject to change) is to continue to expand the content of the game, focusing on adding more diversity in items and playstyles from run-to-run, such as potentially adding multiple characters and/or scaling difficulty and also trying to expand the number of Trinkets, Stickers, and maybe Consumables. In addition, the goal will be to provide plenty of polish and bug fixing.

It may also have mechanical differences if feedback suggests current mechanics like the way the Shop works, for example, may need to be reworked.」

「As of the initial Early Access release, RogueFlip should be considered to be a fully-playable game that can be enjoyed for a few hours, albeit lacking in content and polish. There's one playable character and around 30 trinkets and 23 stickers.」

「Yes. My ideal scenario was to have a free Early Access then a paid release, but there's a few too many issues with that. This is a hobby, not a job, thus I've priced the Early Access about as cheap as I can so that the barrier to entry is as low as possible.

There will be no price increases during the Early Access period, but the plan is for a potential full release to cost more.」

「Feedback is crucial to indie games' success, so I hope to interact with the community through Steam reviews, the community page, and most importantly through the RogueFlip Discord server. The community can also help find bugs and exploits that need to be patched out, though obviously I want to release as few bugs as possible.」

Description

RogueFlip is a roguelike deckbuilder built around a logic puzzle game that is a hybrid of Picross and Minesweeper. Drawing inspiration from genre giants like Balatro and Slay the Spire, the game comes with powerful upgrades and progression over the course of a run like Trinkets (global bonuses), Stickers (bonuses from one card), and Upgrades (modifications to one card) as well as deep synergies between all the interlocking mechanics and a splash of randomness to create an endlessly replayable experience.
