POSTERIOR is an experimental score-based game built around symmetry, time, and weight.

You are born inside a perfectly symmetrical capsule.
Facing you is a shadow that mirrors your every move.
Every action you take is recorded and reborn with a delay.

These replays:

• are your past

• have physical weight

• constantly disrupt the balance of the capsule

The longer you survive, the more unstable the capsule becomes.

At some point, the inevitable happens.

Rewind Time

With a single button press:

• you return to the beginning

• all replays freeze in place

• living movement turns into dead weight

It is time to face your past.

Destroy Your Past

You can aim at frozen replays and eliminate them.
Each destruction instantly alters the capsule’s physics.
A single wrong decision can cause total imbalance.

Balance = Score

POSTERIOR is a high-score game.

Your score is calculated as:

Time Spent Balanced / Total Play Time

• Being fast is not enough

• Surviving is not enough

• Only staying balanced wins

In the demo, the game ends once you reach a set balance time.
In the full game, there is no limit — your score updates continuously, and every run is different.
