AMIGO is a first-person narrative-driven psychological thriller that follows a woman, Julien, after the death of her friend. As she investigates the mysterious Focus on Dream corporation, Julien uncovers a distorted world of memories, puzzles, and secrets – where nothing is quite what it seems.

The price of friendship 

Julien has just lost her best friend, Sarah, and her death has had more of an effect on her than she realised. Strange visions are starting to lead her towards a mysterious corporation that promises to heal trauma through dream exploration, but how much can ‘Focus on Dream’ really be trusted? 

Curious and driven to dive deeper, reality begins to distort. Sarah may still be alive, but Julien... Julien’s mind might not be her own. 

The stuff of nightmares 

Descend into a haunting narrative-driven story that offers a gripping psychological thriller experience and tense atmosphere. Packed with environmental puzzles woven into every thread of the story, players will need to manipulate objects, decode cryptic messages, rearrange fragmented memories, and rewire intricate devices to progress the story.  

One man’s trash is another man’s treasure 

Julien’s pursuit for closure will be aided by her trusty slingshot. Threats in the distorted dreamworld can be outwitted with additional, unique projectiles, including EMP stun pellets and smoke bombs to aid stealthy escapes.  

 

Exploration and creativity are rewarded in AMIGO, allowing players to tailor their approach to combat, puzzles, and NPC decisions. Scavenging for materials will allow players to upgrade and customize their slingshot. 

Travelling in style 

Hop on your bicycle to explore areas and evade threats as your search for Sarah unravels. Traverse dreamworlds with the VisionBox, a mysterious device that alters the environment. Learn time control and mind-manipulating abilities as you progress through the story, which can be used to slow time during intense chases or against your enemies. 

Sleep soundly 

AMIGO’s tense atmosphere, unpredictable events, and emotional storytelling is enshrouded by its haunting original soundtrack, composed by Mad Var Studios.
