A Brutal Co-op Sandbox Adventure at the Edge of an Empire

You are exiled to the far east — to the massive frontier wall at the edge of a dying Golden Age.
Beyond it: lawless lands, ancient ruins, and something dark growing in the shadows.

This is a third-person open-world sandbox built for co-op chaos.
No rigid quest chains. No “follow the marker” checklist.
You choose your path, your goals, and how you survive.

Your Goal (For Now)

You’ve been thrown out of the Empire and left with nothing.
Your plan is simple: earn enough money to buy your way back in.

But the deeper you go, the more you’ll question what’s really happening outside the wall…
and whether the real threat is coming from beyond — or from within.

Will you return to the Empire… or stop what’s spreading out here?

Co-op First — As Many Players As Your PCs Can Handle

This game is made for playing together.
I’m aiming for 6+ players (and potentially more) depending on what I can achieve as a solo developer — with the goal of letting as many friends play together as your hardware allows.

Team up, split up, regroup, improvise.
The world won’t care — it will hit you anyway.

True Sandbox Freedom

• Open world exploration with no forced route

• No mandatory quest path — you decide what matters

• Multiple approaches: avoid fights, ambush, brute-force, outsmart

• Discover ruins, hidden areas, shortcuts, and threats through curiosity — not quest logs

• Make your own “quests”: raid a ruin, hunt a monster, loot a stronghold, stock supplies, push deeper

Hard Survival + Loot That Matters

This world is not forgiving. Supplies matter. Mistakes cost you.

• Harsh survival systems (work in progress): manage resources, risk, and recovery

• Loot-driven progression: weapons, armor, tools, upgrades — find your build

• Scavenge, prepare, and turn scraps into power

• The deeper you travel, the higher the risk — and the better the rewards

Mature, Bloody, Brutal Combat

Combat is fast, violent, and meant to feel heavy.
This is a game for adults: gritty dark fantasy, brutal enemies, and brutal outcomes.

• Third-person action combat focused on impact and aggression

• Teamplay moments: saves, revives, clutch rescues, coordinated strikes

• Encounters designed to punish sloppy play and reward coordination

Anime/Comic Visuals (Cel-Shading Possible)

The art direction stays anime/comic-inspired — with a strong chance of adding or expanding cel-shading if it fits and the community wants it.
The vibe is epic and grim fantasy, but with a distinct stylized identity.
