A completely new game mode, complete with new mechanics and a brand new story!
Help Dr. Oopsie by defeating the escaped experiments before time runs out!

Gameplay Loop

The mode is structured into two parts, scrolling sections that play like the base game, and locked screen sections that include bosses and enemy barrages that have to be defeated before Ina is able to move on. Clearing a locked screen section will reward Ina with a valuable item, such as Bookmarks, additional time, or cans of Dr. Oopsie. 

Timepiece Mechanic

Using Dr. Oopsie’s mystical relic, Ina is able to travel back to the moment after the experiments escaped. But the timepiece has a time limit before it stops functioning completely, sending Ina back to her world.

By defeating experiments, and collecting time, Ina is able to increase the duration of her stay in Dr. Oopsie’s world, giving Ina the means to defeat the last experiment before something truly awful happens in her absence.

Warp back in time to collect more Power-ups, add time to the Timepiece, and discover cans of Dr. Oopsie to restore your health!

Weapon System

This mode has a completely different weapon system from the base game. Ina can collect bookmarks to power-up AO-chan even further! There are 3 different kinds of bookmarks for AO-chan to draw power from, and you can collect 3 of a kind to reach AO-chan’s full potential!

Story

Throughout the mode, Dr. Oopsie will reveal information about the experiments during gameplay, as well as make minor comments along the way. The mode also includes new cutscenes.
