Idle Bookstore is a cozy desktop idle game about building a bookstore experience.

Start with a small shop, a few books on the shelf, and a humble freelance writing gig. As you earn money, you’ll expand into new stores, hire staff, and decorate your space into a book haven.

But you don’t have to build alone.

Multiplayer That Feels Like Hanging Out

Idle Bookstore is designed around a simple fantasy: co-working with friends in a cozy shared space, even if you’re all doing your own thing.


In multiplayer lobbies, everyone appears as an avatar working at their desk. You’ll see what others are up to in real time — writing, reading, watching, or working — like a tiny online café for productivity and creativity.

Write Together. Sell Together. Grow Together.

  • Co-write books with other players and complete projects as a team.

  • Sell books written by players in your lobby, helping their careers while growing your own store.

  • Earn avatar customizations through shared activities, so your desk and character reflect your style.

  • Share productivity goals, track your sessions, and give each other likes when someone finishes an activity.
