Pourquoi choisir l'accès anticipé ?

« Acting Out is a small game made by a small team of two people, and we want to get a playable version of the game into players' hands as early as we can. We have already laid the foundations for the game's tech and mechanics and are confident that the game is fun. Doing Early Access will allow us to expand the content and feature set over time and polish with players' feedback in mind.  »

Pendant combien de temps environ ce jeu sera-t-il en accès anticipé ?

« We plan to be in early access for at least 12 months, or until we are satisfied with the level of content and polish for a full release.

We plan to regularly update the game with new scenes and features throughout Early Access.  »

En quoi la version finale sera-t-elle différente de la version en accès anticipé ?

« We plan to include many more movie scenes to act out, from a wide variety of genres (we plan to cover all the favourites!) and more playable actor skins, as well as a variety of improv style features that will allow for more surprises and player expression. We also plan to polish the user experience and online feature set iteratively up until release.  »

Quel est l'état actuel de la version en accès anticipé ?

« The gameplay loop of acting, recording and playing back your movies is fully functional. The initial Early Access launch contains 10 scenes to act out, with more being added over time. Some of the user experience (menus, game flow, accessibility features, etc) is still work-in-progress and we plan to improve iteratively based on player feedback.  »

Le prix du jeu sera-t-il différent pendant et après l'accès anticipé ?

« We plan to gradually increase the price after Early Access as new content and features are shipped. »

Comment comptez-vous impliquer la communauté dans le processus de développement ?

« We will be listening to feedback via the Steam forums and our Discord server to improve the game and user experience. We will post about our development progress and request feedback from players throughout the process so that we can deliver the best possible experience to the community. We also plan to take suggestions for types of movie scenes to add to the game from the community, so please share what you would like to see in the game!  »

MOVIE MAKING MAGIC

Get on a film set with your friends and make movies! Acting Out is an online co-op multiplayer game where you and fellow actors try to shoot the next award-winning scene.

All the cameras are set up for you already, so your job is to act out scripts and deliver your best performance. You only get one take for each shot though!

GENRES

Whether you’re a fan of horror, action, drama, or even trashy reality TV, there’s something for everyone. Featuring over 20 scenes with more to come, select the script of your choice and then it's on to casting!

Choose the right actors for each part, and coordinate with your friends to make sure you have the best person for each role. The characters will depend on the script being fantasy, sci-fi, detective noir, or something else entirely, so choose carefully.

GO OFF-SCRIPT

Want to be a creative? Replay existing scenes with the pre-made script disabled and re-enact your favourite scenes or make up your own story!

AWARD-WINNING PERFORMANCES

Your acting is the most important part of it all. Stellar performances are what makes or breaks a scene. Make sure you hit your marks before the cameras start rolling, then deliver your scripted dialogue, try to ad-lib, or go full improv!

Stay in character and don’t forget to use emotes! After all, actions can speak louder than words.

MOVIE PREMIERE

When your crew has wrapped, you’ll all be taken to the theatre to watch your masterpiece on the big screen. Laugh, cry, and be genuinely moved by the work of art you have created together! You can even save your movie for posterity, and show others exactly why you are truly a star!
