What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“We're launching in Early Access because player feedback is essential to refining the combat feel and progression balance of our action RPG. The core systems, ATB combat with timed blocks and parries, party management, equipment crafting, and exploration are functional and playable, but we want community input to shape difficulty tuning, QOL features, and content priorities before we consider the game complete. While we have a VERY complete story and roadmap, the development process is fluid and Early Access lets us build alongside our players rather than in isolation.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The early access version will only include Act 1. We anticipate Early Access lasting approximately 18-28 months, though this timeline may adjust based on community feedback and development realities. We're committed to regular updates (having the goal of monthly updates) throughout this period, but we won't rush to a 1.0 release until all feedback has been considered and we feel the game is ready.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to expand the game in the following areas:

Story content: Additional story chapters and questlines beyond what's currently available

Combat depth: More unlockable attacks, enemy types, and boss encounters

Party members: Additional recruitable companions with unique abilities

World expansion: New explorable regions and dungeons

Equipment variety: More craftable items, modules, and gear sets

Polish: UI/UX improvements, additional music, sound effects, and visual feedback based on player suggestions

The scope of these additions may change based on Early Access feedback and what players tell us they want most.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version includes:

Playable core loop: Explore the first area and village, engage in ATB-style combat, complete quests, and progress through the current story content

Combat system: Punch combos, kicks, charged attacks, blocking, and parrying against enemies with their own attack patterns and defensive behaviors

Party system: Recruit NPCs who follow you and participate in combat
Progression systems: Equipment slots (head, body, arms, legs, accessories), internal module implants, and a crafting system for creating items from materials

Exploration: Multiple connected areas including villages, wilderness zones, and interior locations

Save system: Multiple save slots with auto-save functionality

Current content represents roughly the first act of our planned story. Players should expect approximately 2-4 hours of content, though this will expand significantly during Early Access.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to increase the price as we add substantial content during Early Access. Players who purchase early will receive all future updates at no additional cost. Any price changes will be announced in advance.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community involvement is central to our Early Access approach:

Steam Discussions: Our primary hub for bug reports, feature requests, and general feedback

Public roadmap: We plan to share our development schedule and goals.

Changelogs: While some changes are best to be discovered (like new areas, NPC's, items, etc...) things like bugs, game crashing errors, major changes in character development or the game foundation will be posted.

About This Game

A dormant machine reactivates by chance—its memory wiped, its origin unknown. With no record of the past and no clear directive for the future.

Civilization has collapsed into fragments: abandoned settlements, silent forests overtaken by bio-engineered abominations, human freaks, and automated enforcers still carrying out forgotten commands.

As you explore, you’ll piece together traces of a lost world through environmental storytelling, encounters, and broken systems that hint at what came before with a simple directive. Move forward.

This is a story about identity without memory, purpose without instruction, and autonomy in a world where free will has been systemically hunted and erased.

The machine is awake.
The world is watching.
And nothing is without a reason.

The game features:

  • Active Time Battle (ATB) combat system with punches, kicks, combos, charged attacks, blocking, and parrying

  • Boss battles with a change of pace with its own combat mechanic.

  • Party system where NPCs can join as followers

  • Equipment system with 6 slots (Head, Body, Arms, Legs, Accessory x2)

  • Module system (internal implants unlocked via wires)

  • Crafting system with materials

  • Inventory with consumables, equipment, materials, wires, and key items

  • Dialog system with branching conversations and quest alternatives

  • Save/load system with multiple slots

  • Day/night cycle

  • Overworld exploration with multiple zones, secret areas, secret items and equipment, secret party members

  • Minigames
