The Lost Lunch is a first-person environmental puzzle game where you play as a mother squirrel climbing The Great Tree on an important mission; returning a lunch her child accidentally left behind.

Progress is gained through observation, reasoning, and understanding how each environment interacts with its puzzles. As you climb higher, new mechanics are introduced and gradually expanded upon, asking you to apply what you’ve learned in increasingly complex ways.

There are no enemies, timers, or combat systems. Only you, the environment, and the challenge of the puzzles. Players are free to play at their own pace, experiment with solutions, and use optional hints whenever they feel stuck.

Your goal is simple: ascend the tree, master each new puzzle concept, and give your son their lunch!

Solve a wide variety of puzzles that require careful thinking! From discerning pitch to understanding the information provided through the environment, puzzles come in a wide variety of flavors!

• No Combat, No Pressure

A purely puzzle-focused experience with no enemies, combat, or game-over screens. Hints are available to the player whenever! 

• Optional Hints System

Hints are available at any time for players who want help, ranging from general guidance to full answers. This system ensures players don't get stuck on 1 level forever and can still experience the rest of the game!

• Multiple Save Slots

Use multiple save slots to track different playthroughs, revisit earlier puzzles, or share the game with others!
