About This Demo

This 2D side-scrolling martial arts story-based demo is set against the chaotic backdrop of Zhang Xianzhong's invasion of Sichuan at the end of the Ming Dynasty. Players take on the role of an unknown soldier, struggling to survive and turn the tide amid the war-torn lands of Sichuan. The major Version 0.2 update is now live, with core optimizations centered on gameplay feel—among them, the Shift-key dash mechanic, a critical tool for survival in these turbulent times that injects fresh power into your martial arts journey!

The core gameplay brims with highlights: wield your sword to unleash fluid combos and savor the exhilarating thrill of close-quarters combat. Unlock two types of functional pets (offensive/supportive)—only the supportive pet is available in the current demo to sustain your battles. Collect gold and other items to progress through streamlined character development; no complicated operations are needed to build up your strength quickly. Easily take on two unique boss fights and experience the sheer exhilaration of martial arts showdowns.

The centerpiece of this update—the Shift-key Eagle Transformation Technique! Press Shift to morph into eagle form, gaining 0.3 seconds of invulnerability. Dash through a flurry of blades, dodge fatal strikes, seize control of the battlefield like a force of nature, and max out your combat thrill! More than just an escape tool, this mechanic can be combined with combos for mind-blowing maneuvers, adding a new layer of strategy and excitement to close-quarters combat.
