Miksi Early Access?

We chose Early Access to continue developing Dead Zombie with help from the community.

While the core gameplay systems are implemented, player feedback is essential to improve difficulty balance, enemy behavior, level design, and overall pacing. Early Access allows us to refine the experience and expand the game in the right direction.

The full version is planned to include:
Additional zombie and mutant enemy types
New weapons and gameplay mechanics
Expanded levels and mission variety
Improved AI, balance, and difficulty tuning
More polish, optimization, and visual improvements
Some of these features are not yet available in the Early Access version.

The Early Access version currently includes:
Fully playable top-down gameplay
Night-time levels with flashlight-based visibility
3 ranged weapons (pistol, SMG, flamethrower)
melee weapons (knife and baton)
8 zombie types and 6 mutated monsters
Ammo drops, bombs, and survivor rescue mechanics
A complete mission flow ending with helicopter evacuation
The core game loop is playable and stable, with more content and refinement planned.

Community feedback will directly influence the development of Dead Zombie.
We plan to:
Collect feedback through Steam forums and discussions
Adjust weapon balance and enemy difficulty based on player input
Improve level design and pacing using player suggestions
Fix bugs and optimize performance based on community reports
Player input will help shape the final version of the game.
