About This Game

SPACERO: ORIGINS is a single-player space RPG focused on missions, crew relationships, and alien politics. Explore star systems from a 3rd person perspective, take contracts that shape your reputation, and build a ship and crew capable of surviving a galaxy that remembers what you do.

What you do

  • Take missions: bounty hunts, deliveries, rescues, escorts, investigations, and high-risk faction jobs.

  • Explore star systems: scan locations, uncover points of interest, and discover new species and settlements.

  • Fight in real-time ship combat: use weapons and tactical abilities, and adapt to different enemy behaviors.

  • Make choices in diplomacy and dialogue: negotiate, intimidate, trade favors, or burn bridges, with consequences that affect how factions treat you.

Progression and customization

  • Upgrade your ship with modular systems.

  • Recruit and develop crew with roles and perks that affect combat, travel, negotiation, and mission outcomes.

  • Build reputation across alien factions and authorities, unlocking new contracts, rewards, and story paths.

  • Tech and gear progression that rewards exploration, risk, and specializations.

Galaxy politics

  • Multiple alien factions with their own goals, doctrines, and conflicts.
