Why Early Access?

“The main goal of early access is to adjust the games difficulty based on player feedback and patch any exploits. I may also add new game modes and features if any cool ideas come up.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I am expecting it to be around 2 months.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I don't plan to change much in the full version. But I don't rule it out either. As I said earlier, if any cool ideas come up, I might add them in.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is fully playable and has been tested. There shouldn't be any bugs, but you never know.

“I don't plan to change prices.”

“I am hoping for the community to help me identify exploits and give me feedback on the game's difficulty. This is meant to be a challenging game but at the same time I want people to enjoy it and have fun.”

About This Game

The Helios Incident is a challenging top-down survivor game about focus, skill and persistence. I've tried to design it such that it can only be beaten when in a state of flow. Thinking, analysis and memory do not help. Take a deep breath, calm down and let your instincts take over.

  • Guide your spaceship through an endless and relentless alien swarm.

  • One wrong move often means game over.

  • Randomized enemy movements.

  • Smooth but challenging physics-based gameplay.

  • No upgrades or loot boxes. This is not that kind of game.

  • Multiple target time settings. Starting at 3 minutes for a quick session and 21 minutes if you're a God.
